VT Group's Technical Services Awarded 
TACOM OMNIBUS III Blanket Purchase Agreement

                                                                

ARLINGTON, Va.- Today, VT Group proudly announced thatits Technical Services business unit has been awarded the U.S. Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) Omnibus III Contract.  As prime contractor, VT Group will lead a team of extremely capable and diversified small businesses in providing cost analysis, analytical and technical services and products to the project and product managers in the Program Executive Office (PEO) and Combat Support and Combat Service Support (CS & CSS) Organizations at TACOM Contracting Center located in Warren, Mich. 

 

The Technical Services team will provide support and services that include strategic planning for technology programs; concept development and requirements analysis; system design; engineering and integration, test and evaluation; integrated logistics support; acquisition and lifecycle management; consulting, facilitation, training and survey services; support products; competitive sourcing support; program integration and product management; off-the-shelf and customizable print, audio and visual instructional training devices; supply and value chain management services; distribution and transportation logistics services; deployment logistics; logistics training services; support products and operations and maintenance logistics management

 

The TACOM Omnibus III contract has a possible total value of $225 million over the life of the 27-month contract, of which VT Group could receive a potential $75 million.  To date, $700 million has been obligated on this and its predecessor contract, Omnibus II, in the last 10 years.
